I recently read "The Jaguar Sun," a short story by Italo Calvino, about a couple traveling to Mexico. Calvino's words made my mouth water for the subtleties of authentic Mexican cuisine. I miss Patzcuaro, warm bolios, and mole "the defining glory of a Oaxacan kitchen."
